The Octopus, 8 ascents of Leith Hill, Surrey logo

Welcome to the Leith Hill Octopus cycle challenge in aid of charity

Are you a cyclist who would like to face up to the Leith Hill Octopus?

Do you think you can take on the challenge and grapple with its eight arms?

58 miles and almost 5500 feet of climb - All in one day?

The Octopus is something special for those madder-than-most cyclists who enjoy an uphill challenge for this event is a relentless up-and-down ride. It’s no use at all for you flat-landers, but it’s a paradise for those cycling nuts who get a thrill out of riding in their lowest gears and who enjoy the sensation of going up higher and higher.

The feel-good factor comes from knowing you’ll be doing it all in a good cause, the good cause being a charity called Project Mala.
